Autocourse History of the Indy 500

Don't know if this has been posted anywhere else. Autocourse is releasing an updated history to include the 2012 race, and a tribute to Dan Wheldon. Release is scheduled for October. Available for pre-order now on Amazon.com.

Thanks for this. This seems like a dandy development in that used copies of the most recent edition were in the $200 range, and I hear this is the book to get. I can't recall why, but I just remember it being THE book to get on Indy.

The new release is 39.99. Search "Autocourse Indianapolis 500" on amazon.com.

I believe it has all the same content as the previous release just updated through last year.

Probably not anymore, as we can now order a new one for $40 with updated content. I think a few years ago I asked for one of the old out of print copies for christmas. That was a no-go when it came up as a three figure price.

to think, she coulda been "The French Lick 500". Consider this ordered. I think I maxed out my special little Internet credit card yesterday buying Senna t-shirt and Vintage posters, and now this today! Thanks!! I found a treasure trove of vintage posters at allposters.com. 30% off everything ends today.
