Cannot remember where I saw it, but someone wrapped a piece of bacon around the corn then grilled it.

Surely there's cheese in there somewhere...

Incidentally, though we ended up putting off the corn for another day, the brats were terrific and the brat jacuzzi was a great success.

Speaking of Bacon... I have several friends who graduated from I.U. with degrees in Library Science and you'd be surprised to find out how often they get books back and find that a slice of raw bacon was used as a bookmark.

We did a new recipe last night, Grilled Corn with Smokey Lime Mayo. Mayo, lime zest, lime juice, honey, smoked paprika & salt mixed together. Brushed corn with the mixture, wrapped in foil and cooked on the grill. It went really well with the left over Chicken Fajitas. Yum!

Dipping the corn in melted butter is the best way to eat it - maybe not the most healthiest but the best nonetheless.

Paula Dean requires the corn to be wrapped in bacon first, coooked, then dipped in butter.

    Alternately

    State Fair version:
Wrap corn in bacon, dip in batter, deep fry.......Then dip in butter.

WOOT! UPS just showed up with grill parts! I've had this Weber gas grill since 1998. Its lived in Indiana since 2001 and used year around at about 5+ times per week.

For its loyal service all this time, it just received new stainless burner tubes, new stainless flavorizer bars and a new stainless grill. I had been using the original burner tubes and grate. Its so pretty that it almost brings a tear to my eye.

Now I just need something to toss on the grill for dinner tonight! WOOT!
