    Good Article about Bernie's F1

This article gives some history and insight on how Bernie has transformed F1 over the past 30 years. How he has done it and how it has impacted the sport, teams, and traditional venues. Interesting information about Bahrainian ownership in McLaren that I was not aware of too.

Finally got to it. That is one heck of a read. And I do think this is a rather spot on paragraph:

Ecclestone's habit of taking the money and asking no questions ensured that one day he would place the Formula One teams and their personnel in the position they now find themselves: nervous of their personal safety and uncertain how to respond to the question of whether they should be there at all. Thanks to him, a sport whose conscience was once troubled only by its environmental impact now looks like a pariah.
And inevitably, it had to come to that.
