    Aloha Buddie,,,

    Yes I would think so...

That Little Blaney Kid, Cole Witt, and Austin Dillion,
they did great.... Just like Stenhouse, great talents...

I think Travis has a big job in front of him, but so does
Danica... TJ Bell,,, ???? Car did not past inspection...
He has a tuff row to hoe, short on talent, and money,
not a good spot to be in... Hope the Kid gets a start
    tonight...

Should be a pretty good show,,, I don't think there will
be any 100 lap green flag runs... LOL

    Big,,,

Getting back to Travis, I just can't imagine jumping out
of an airplane with no chute, or the "Double Double",
    back flip... Crazy,,, just crazy...

One has to wonder if he'll be able to get his adrenalin pumping in Nationwide when he's use to jumping out of airplanes without a parachute

    TP is creaking nutz!

Stenhouse, Whitt, Dillon, Blaney are all exceptionally talented young racers for sure.

Am I the only who is colored very impressed by Ryan Blaney???

Memo to the Danica defenders: Running with the big boys in the well funded cars in your first Nationwide race is impressive. Being able to outrun the start n' parks and the cars with the pocket change sponsors? Not.

I hope this race is no fluke and Blaney is a future star in the making.

    Aloha,,,

Kid Blaney,,, what a show he put on tonight... I think
some of this new talent can at least move up and
replace maybe some of the "back markers" in Cup,
in the next couple of years... Guys like Mears and
Burton, better pick it up, if they can...

Should be fun,,, these Kid's have great car control,
and can just run wheel to wheel, with control...

    Great Show,,,

Would have been more impressed if he had giggled and gloated on his radio about passing up 20 something of his fellow MALE drivers, than giggling and gloating about passing up the "girls." If he had made those comments about male drivers on his radio, let alone on TV, more than a few of those male drivers would be visiting his hauler. Meanwhile, in Patrick's post-race interview, she made a point to congratulate him on a good race. Someone came across on TV looking like an And it wasn't DP or Johanna Long. (I'd be willing to bet that J Long wasn't amused either.)

Yes, "she" sure did! Patrick gave him congrats and a shout out on national TV for a having a good race. Unlike his juvenile: "WOOHEEAAHHHH! I just passed the GIRLS!" Johanna Long also showed how gracious she is by ignoring his stupid remarks. So, yeah, both sure did.

I thought Travis's comments about the "girls" was a bit tongue in cheek and I doubt either DP or Johanna would have been offended in any way. Probably the only people offended were DP's overly sensitive fanboys.

If he hadn't made a rookie mistake on his first ever green flag pit stop, he would have been well ahead of DP. He and Long seemed to battle back and forth all night as the running order would show they were obviously passing and re-passing each other. They both stayed on the lead lap for a long time and just prior to the last stop, he was ahead of Long. For his first Nationwide race, he did very well. The in car showed he was VERY smooth, so he has a lot of potential to develop. He certainly appeals to a demographic that NASCAR hasn't been able to tap for some time, so his success could only be considered a positive.

But what about Ryan Blaney? HE was impressive. He even seemed to surprise his dad, based on the interview after the race.

Nationwide may just be a shadow of its former self this year with a lot of start and parks and very low budget teams, but some of the young talent being showcased bodes well for the future of the sport. Stories like Blaney, Austin Dillion, Michael Annett, even Johanna Long are the stories of the future. Even though this is only her 3 year in Nationwide, DP is quickly becoming old news as she hasn't been impressive. Already, ESPN switched its focus from her to Pastrana.

If you look at where his family is from and what his dad uncle and grandfather raced, you have to wonder if he would have looked at Indy or Daytona if he was born 40 years earlier

IMO, he would've only had eyes for Indianapolis.

But, alas, the kid is now just another forfeited one.

    Dale Blaney was very impressive.

As for TP and his comment about "the girls" it was very clear to me that the remark was meant tongue-in-cheek. Unfortunately, my first thought after he made it was that someone would take offense. Where would we be without outrage in 2012?

Yep. Mechanical issues & all. And then she gave him some solid praise for his run.

Much better run for TP than expected though based on his very lackluster K&N performance to date.

I wasn't horribly offended by his comment about the girls, persay. I laughed when he got beat by both of them. but it bugs me that in his case people leap to his defense and say that people who have a problem are themselves wrong.meanwhile, I'm still reading comments from people who are still angry about a comment Danica made in 2010.

Also I'm really impressed by the Blaney kid.
