Or we need Will Power to go to F1, so everyone else has a chance again on 70% of the schedule.
So far, if you aren't driving for the Capn' and his Ilmor owned Chevy engine (which seems to have an extra few gallons then everyone else) you ain't got a prayer of winning a race.
Will Indy be any different? The chance for everyone else is that Power has only won 1 oval race (partially thanks to some goofy rules at Texas last June) and Briscoe's record at Indy is less then impressive. So that could at least open it up to some others. Hopefully it does, at least.

I am a fan of the IZOD IndyCar Series, Formula 1, and AMA Supercross in that respective order.
So, if an influx of American talent is not going to increase the popularity of IndyCar and the current path doesn't seem to be the trick, what will...
Less negativity might help. See my Sig.
Unless you can demonstrate that more would.
Not sure that's physically possible, though![]()
"The series may be hesitant to say it, but the day is here for everybody that loves IndyCar racing to link arms and help each other out. Anybody who doesn’t want to do that needs to find something else to do with their time.”

"I think of Indianapolis every day of the year, every
hour of the day, and when I sleep, too. Everything I
ever wanted in my life, I found inside the walls of
the Indianapolis Motor Speedway."

Not even close, but she was significantly better (at Indy and in the final point tally) than Carpenter.
There are obviously numerous factors that goes into Danica's popularity, but she wouldn't have been nearly as popular if she was born in Pippa Mann's or Ana Beatriz's hometown.
I mean, come on, she has a tramp stamp of the American flag!
