So what's the story with the 'Indy sports guy'? Anybody who had ever been to any event in Indy knows who I'm talking about.

You talking about the white guy with the curly hair at Pacers games or the black guy in Colts stuff you see at the track?
    It's a Hoosier thing, you wouldn't understand...

Rose out with an ACL and the Knocks get smoked by the Heat.

The black guy that is at every single sporting event in Indy; Pacers, Colts, the 500, the 400...

That requires a lot of time and money.

    Yep.

He was in his Colts gear at the Super Bowl Experience...and he was quite a hit.

Very sorry to hear about Derrick Rose but there are so many Bulls fans in Indy that couldn't find Chicago on a map...I can't help but snicker in their direction.

There was a story in the Indy Star maybe a couple years ago. In it, it stated that he works 3rd shift so he can attend all these events. My first thought was that the guy must never sleep.

I believe he works at the Speedway Kroger's.
His name is Mike and I call him Crazy Mike.
    Have a very blessed day!

OKC! OKC! OKC! OKC! A thriller to start off the series with the defending champs! Durant with the shooters roll with 1.5 left on the clock! How sweet it is! Ernest

Can we snicker when Manning has a good season and Luck and the Colts struggle?

No kidding, wow. I figured he must be independently wealthy. That is some dedication, right there.

99% of Colts fans will be enjoying the success of Manning while also enjoying the development of Luck, and understanding that it will take time. There are very few that are still bitter about the release of Peyton and don't understand what we're getting in Luck. I'd absolutely invite you to snicker in their direction, though.

I don't think there's any law preventing you.

    Absolutely.

I would suggest that you're setting yourself up for disappointment, though.

Well if we're still talking NBA Playoffs in this thread, Saturday night's game was heartbreaking. It sucked to be me last night. Pacers lose and my NHL team, the Blues blew it. Must have been a blue and gold thing.

I wouldn't worry about the Pacers yet. They're clearly the superior team, talent-wise. There's no reason they shouldn't prevail in 7.

Up 2-0 on the defending champs and Durant has shot the ball horribly. Whats gonna happen when KD eventually heats up? Go Thunder! Ernest

You know, with the shortened and condensed regular-season schedule, I found myself somewhat more interested in the NBA this season. (It also helped that the Pacers are contenders again.)

I wish that the NBA would not only go to a condensed schedule permanently, but also do something similar by reducing the postseason, either by number of teams or fewer best-of-7 series.

Yeah 16 out of 30 teams is too many.

Gotta love the Pacers making fun of Amare Stoudemire: http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-ba...234535642.html

ABC hit an eight-year high in overnight ratings for Sunday’s Game 4 between the Heat and Knicks.
Damn impressive. I've been watching the Pacer games & have thoroughly enjoyed all but the first.

For those of us who only watch the NBA when the Pacers are in the Playoffs... Who are these defending Champs that Ernest keeps speaking of and has taken such glee in sweeping?
