where to meet TF members carb day?

it will be here before ya know it.. so someone with the time and effort, please figure out a place and time for us to be able to mingle on carb day..

    or not

be it noted, due to circumstances beyond my control: i WILL NOT be bringing a keg of Shiner Bock this year..

someone earlier had suggested the tower terrace seats.. cool which section and what time?

just sayin, there's a few of ya that i'd like to offer a smile and a handshake to..
returning to the days of ignorant bliss..

Give me a time and place and we'll stop to say hi. How many here will be at Curt Cavin's Burger Bash?

Also, is that you in your Avatar? Or is that Kris Kristofferson?

Thanks for asking. I have been wondering the same thing as I will be attending for first time and want to hang with the cool crowd

I am definitely hoping to put some faces to avatars and avatars to actual names.

PS: R22 it is great to hear you will be able to attend. I know it has been a rough year.
Congratulations to RHR, & all the winning drivers & teams in the fantastic 2012 season. Looking forward to 2013!

I'd be there in a heartbeat Bob if I could. Moving that weekend and fear I'll only be catching bits and pieces of this year's race.
I'll have a Shiner Bock just for you!

Just remember that it's storm season during June and should you pack your tools and go to Newton, there may be some hail damage. Might even be a race...
    Have fun!

Myself and a few other TFer's will be sitting in section 28 of the Tower Terrace. We'll be along the north side of Gasoline Alley and we will be sitting in the top two rows, at least, along the fence. We'll be there until after the Freedom 100.
Hope to see some of you there. Or at least wave as you walk by.
    Have a very blessed day!

Section 28? I looked on the seating guide and Tower Terrace starts at section 37. Did you mean section 38?

It's been section 28 since they built the F1 garages. It's the first section north of Gasoline Alley.
    I know where it is!

I see where the confusion came from,
The website I was on calls it Pit Road Terrace

I will try to get down there, usually watch the Freedom 100 from the envy seats (E Penthouse). If I can get down there I will be the one with a Silver Crown shirt on.

I like to hang out up on the stairs/cat walk overlooking Gasoline Alley to people & driver watch. I will probably be in a Bryan Clauson shirt.

I can make it by - Section 28. Later that evening I will be in the back room at Grindstone Charley's for my annual 1962 Speedway High School reunion bash. We've been doing it I think for about 17 straight years now at Grindstone Charley's .

Sec 28, top row and the concrete behind it is where I always go for Fast Friday. Anyone else planning to be there that day?
