    Walter Zoomie 2006

May first. Time to review Walter Zoomie’s Indy photo blogs.
Walter is too humble to blow his own horn or ring his own cowbell, maybe, so I will.
His INDY 500 reports are the best there is.
Please note that WZ was assaulted by Grover in the first post.
So much for Mr. Grover being a nice guy and a giver.
I agree with the last part of post #35.
Keep your eyes pealed like a Navy SEAL for the Zoomies.

I started looking through this again last night. Some great laughs, cool photos, stories and memories of those not with us any longer.

    I can't wait for the 2012 addition!

I miss the hidden gomers imbedded into the images. I used spend hours doing the "Where's Waldo?" thing with them (and exchanged e-mails with a few other posters asking where they were in some photos). It got much tougher when they stopped all being day-glo yellow.

For those who would like to play along, examples on the first page include the electrical outlet on the right side (turned 90 degrees) in the Mario photo, and in the 'O' of Geico in Little Al's driving suit.

Can't find Zoomie in post #4, but it is on the side of the cover over the gas pumps in #7.

Well I just wasted a good few hours amusing myself with that. So thanks for the link to the thread, RV... I think! And definitely no thanks to all of those who drew my attention to the fact that there are hidden 'Zoomies' in the photos.

I hope Mr. Zoomie has time to provide us all with another classic Indy blog this year.

Yes. Those were quaint posts, weren't they?
Thanks for the kudos and stuff, but I don't think I have it in me any more.
I'm much too full of bile and hate to be so cutesy now.

    Getting old and wise sucks.

    Sometimes.

    Maybe.

I don't sleep as much as I used to. I used to wonder why guys in their 50's were so cranky...now I know...getting up 6 times a night to go pee...

I won't be 50 until November, thank you very much.
I'll prolly get trackside a couple of times this year.
    Maybe.
I think sitting in a lawn chair in the third turn and getting baked will be the extent of my activities.

I always crack up when I hear someone whining, "I only got 4 hours of sleep last night." That's a good night for me.

Sorry to derail. Is it possible to derail a Zoomie thread?
