What are some recommendatios for seat location? I was thinking around section 114.
Do you buy your tickets directly from TMS?

Front stretch, high up.

Tracks like Tx and Ky really are almost all great seats because they were designed that way from the beginning.
Some of the seats close to the racing surface (first 10 rows or so) aren't the best but IIRC @ Tx they block those out when Indycars run for safety considerations.

across from the Start/Finish line is best.....Pit Out area isn't bad. the seats are pretty much the same, obviously higher up is a better view and closer you can "feel" the cars.
Texas reminds of of the movie, Ben Hur. I've seen nothing ever faster than watching Indy Cars at Texas.
I have to agree, all seats at Texas are great. I never miss this event!
Except for the lower seats (which are blocked out), there really isn't a bad seat in the house. I sit in turn four right after the pit entrance and it provides a good view of the cars coming out of the turn and pushing into turn three. With the Global RallyCross series coming this year, my seat looks to be right in the view of the long jump going into the sharp curve. But really, you can't miss.
We usually buy seats high up just past the start/finish line direct from the TMS web site, but every seat there is a good seat.
Thanks to all. I'm missing Indy this year (45 races) to do Texas, Sonoma, Fontana and Indiana Sprint Week.
