You can follow text updates at www.liveupdateguy.com. That's Charles Pelkey and Patrick O'Grady who used to do that at Velonews dot com until they both got fire when Velonews went less racing coverage and more Bicycling Magazine type articles.
Should be a stream here tomorrow. It will be live so it will be early for you guys.

Bummer...no Phil and Paul, stuck with ? and Bob Roll.
Quite the finish, nice sprint, little extra curriculars, an elbow or two......a lot of work for that last exciting sprint.

Is it too soon to post comments about Stage 3?
It's hard to be cool when your dad is Goofy.
No, I think we're safe. I set the thread up so we'll know there might be spoilers. I'll have to find the final sprint on youtube tonight.
I'm just wondering if Cavendish and a few others have wrung that guy's neck yet - I thought I heard his name was Ferrari?
Cav and a few others are pretty unhappy although Cav's being pretty restrained on Twitter. I think they are all trying to get through the long transfer and the early rest day. It was Ferrari from Androni who caused the wreck. Ferrari is taking the defiant tone, "I don't care what happens behind me" while his DS is VERY apologetic. We'll see what happens on the next road stage.
Have you heard what Phinney's status is? First report is that he was out of the race, then they showed him walking around and joking with an interviewer.
From what I read, he spent a lot of time on the ground and trechnically finished by crossing S/S in theambulance. But he was able to get to the podium to get the leader's jersey and he has a rest day tomorrow, so last I heard, he will start the TTT Wednesday.
If the crash was within 3km of the finish you finish in the group from where you crashed.
Where was the crash?
About 200-300 meters out. Generally, the UCI requires a rider to cross S/F under their own pwoer but like many rules with the UCI, they are flexible. Cav crossed by walking with the bikes on his should cyclocross style.
If anyone hasn't seen it yet.
If the race was anywhere but Italy Ferrari would be gone, not put to last place, but he's getting protection via the "village idiots" ruling.......no matter how stupid, short of murder he continues......but will he be breathing an elbow on a later date from a Sky wheelman? Boxed out and "innocently" taken to the side on another sprint? He will pay for his folly in time.![]()
Cav is lucking that dude was able to bunny hop completely over him.
Garmin/Barricuda with another great TTT performance. Looks as if Taylor lost the pink with that tour through the grass, but what a great job just to stay upright.
Not being able to recon the course really hurt. I can't wait until Paris-Roubaix next year. I think Phinny is a legit contender.
From what I read of the stage, didn't sound like many teams were really cohesive which is surprising. Sounds like most were shedding riders left and right.
Cav gets another stage and Phinney eats the pavement again. The kid is having a harder time staying on two wheels than Tyler Hamilton did. He might be a perfect fit for Euskatel - they crash a lot too.
Rubiano wins from a solo breakaway, Navaudaskus loses over 8 minutes and the pink jersey, Thor and Farrar bail and Phinney reportedly hits the deck - again. Wild stage today.
I like the Universal.com coverage. Nothing against Steve and Todd, but I would like to hear more Carlton Kirby. He's a riot.
Phinney's going to end up getting training wheels.
Seems like Farrar has something going on with him. Dropped yesterday and dropped out today? Thor is a bit of a surprise. He can usually climb decently for a big fast guy.
Tyler crashed hard and left a good bit of the skin of one of this cheeks (lower cheek) on the road and severed a small artery in his hand.
Looks like the report I saw about Phinney crashing (again) were inaccurate, but was was in the grupetto with Cav and finished DFL in the stage.
We have Comcast, so I paid the $20. From what I understand, Universal is only available on Dish or DirectTV.
As far as Thor, correct me if I'm wrong, but he is another BMC big name who has not produced yet this year.
I really don't get why Universal Sports was dropped by Comcast, after Comcast purchased NBC Universal...but I digress.
Thor is having a bad year for sure but I've never really been a big fan of his and I think he is now past his sell-by date. The rest of the team is having an off year, but I am not sure it's realistic for Gilbert to repeat what he did last year. The guy was a beast and now he will be marked and wheel-sucked right out of a few wins. I think Evans has a good shot in July to repeat with no Contador because lord knows with all the TT kms, Schlechlette won't content and I am not convinced Wiggins can win a GT, especially if the team is also there to help Cav win the green jersey.
Thanks for your input. Even though I bike myself, I really didn't start following the pro circuit until a few years ago, but it's fun trying to catch up.
As far as Comcast, dropping Universal for MeTV just makes it even more frustrating.
