Looking for a camping spot near (Georgetown Rd & 16th st) .

Hello everybody! Looking for a camping spot for the Sat/Sun of the race. Would like to park near Georgetown & 16th if possible. Can anybody give me a person i cna call to reserve a spot? Last year we parked in a yard way on the other side of Georgetown outside turn 4 but would like to move closer to turn one or two. tks

What are you camping in? Tent? RV? Have you called the Speedway? Lot 5 is a small RV only lot. On Georgetown Road just about half a block from 16th Street.
Or El Lou is next to Lot 5, towards 16th Street. It is privately owned and allows RV and/or tents. I've never stayed at El Lou, but kept their number just in case I ever needed it. The owners are Larry & Mary. 317-244-2507. I assume that is still a good number.

You can probably still get a spot in Lot 2 from the Speedway.

Don't be too sure. We camp in Lot 2 every year, and it sells out really fast. Plus, they save about half just for race day only parking now. I remember a couple of years ago we couldn't get in when trying to get a pass in march or april, so now we renew every year with our ticket renewals.
