I can't think of anyone with less than 10 wins who was more respected, beloved and legendary. Salut Gilles! I'm not ashamed to say I shed a tear when he died.
My daughter wasn't quite 2. It was the first time she saw her dad cry.
Today wasn't much easier.
He was very special as a person and as a driver.
I was very fortunate to see and photograph as much of his career as I did.

The more you learn, the more you realise how little you know.
The long video on there was great--even if I couldn't understand the language.
