    Thanks for that info. I already made other plans, but good to know there are still tickets available if I do decide to go after all.

    SoundMan360, you can catch the race live on Audi.tv, but Motors tv won't be broadcasting anything, and I'm pretty sure Eurosport won't either. There will probably also be an official live stream from the race itself.

    Back to the Spanish oval; Did anyone catch anywhere what the Red Bull cars were running for an average MPH on a lap?

    Also, I guess this goes to show how well a track can be preserved in an arid environment with no freeze/thaw cycles.

    Great find OP! This track has been under my radar- never knew it existed and even more surprised it's till intact!

    The oval is 2 kilometers long. The lap time was 42.6 seconds.

    v = s/t

    Average speed is 169 kmh = 105 mph.
