Important Indy 500 tips from SBNation

Hey, at least a major sports outlet is "covering" Indy, I guess.

There was a time when such satire could be actually funny, and even admired, because it was based on a deeper understanding and appreciation of the subject matter. Apparently that's no longer required.
"The series may be hesitant to say it, but the day is here for everybody that loves IndyCar racing to link arms and help each other out. Anybody who doesn’t want to do that needs to find something else to do with their time.”

That one was asinine, that's all I can really say about it,

Some people like some sports, some like others,

People in the South East are big Fans of Jai Alai, Not my cup of tea, My loves Tennis, My Brother loves watching Golf when he comes

Nothing i'm into, but if they want to invest time watching these pursuits, it doesn't affect me in any way, I just watch the race on the other TV

But i'm not going to go out of my way to insult what makes them happy.....

Hard to believe the is this weekend, so far no coverage in the papers, and I live an hour and a half away. In years past there has been, but those were DP related.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer always has excellent coverage of The Indianapolis 500, including a story in today's paper.

And the PD doesn't just use the AP stuff. They send Elton Alexander to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and I think he is a fine motorsports reporter.

I'm assuming on the border? I'm in Cleveland and we've had front sports page stuff almost every day.
I'd rather have 10% of the world interested in the ICS than 50% of US that NASCAR currently has

I was unaware of the role Charles Grodin played in the pits.

    I dig the anti-humor attempt.

The most offensive part of this article is that it's classified on their site under NASCAR.

Yeah I am a big fan of Jon Bois usually (The Dugout was brilliant) but this totally missed the mark. Trying too hard.
