Well, I am totally convinced !!!

    SO

Where are these damn pussies, these faint of heart wankers who refuse to sack up and act in a manly fashion ? Where are these complete imbeciles who **** and moan and exhibit pansy arse behavior instead of getting out and racing? Where are these cowards, these girly men, these pasty faced, yellow bellied, white feathered eunuchs who refuse to race?

Drag them out so we can heap scorn on them before dragging them up the steps to the guillotine.

Surely it can't be Dario, who has won three 500's and is criticized for choosing to risk it all for a win this year by refusing to give that extra inch to Sato in the final lap.

I guess it can't be Servia who is universally praised for his balls out approach to racing, passing on the inside, the outside, and through the middle to get the best results in an inferior car.

Can't be Power who fought back from a broken back to strap himself back in the car and who won on the deadly Texas oval last year.

But it must be somebody who shows this cowardice, this unwillingness to live up to the traditions of brave men of the past.

Just drag them out of the closet so they can be dealt with by real men. Force them into the open, I say, force them to show their faces !!!

    WE'RE WAITING

Gonzo, I'm giving you a pass. But where are the DT's who called the driver's names? They couldn't have been more wrong. Did they go back under the rock they crawled under from when insulting the drivers and their bravery? Maybe the drivers will be listened to from now on. It was a great show to watch. Ernest

It's sure been a long time since we had someone like Jackie Stewart who could rally everyone to make meaningful changes. Stewart insisted on armco barriers and more run off area, better medical facilities, deformable structures and fuel cells. It went on and on with him. I can't even remember all the safety innovations he pushed through because there were so many, but look at how safe F1 is today. Over the years, the changes Stewart helped force through have saved hundered of lives. Maybe thoussands. That's a better legacy than even his three world championships, I' say.

Stewart didn't just throw up his hands and whine about it when his friends got killed (which was often). He did something about it and he gave us all a safer sport. Stewart would also raise holy hell about places like the Nurburgring and Mid Ohio, and then he could go out and decimate the field while spitting in the face of the very dangers he was complaining about. He was the most bad ass racing driver that ever lived.

Today's drivers? When has even a single one of them done something constructive when it comes to improving safety? I mean, something real. Complaining while getting nothing done does not doesn't count.

It's too bad that Dario doesn't stand up and take on the Stewart role. With three 500 wins he now has a commanding voice that can't be ignored. He could get something done.
