I will be attending the race at Auto Club Speedway. I'd like to get an idea what special perks/access I would get as a Champion? Trying to decide if I should spend $70 to pay for Champion for me and my brother. I am taking him to the race for his 40th birthday, but he's not an IndyCar fan yet. We will buy paddock passes - unless they are included with Champion. Have ticket discounts been announced?
You get some special spiffs at every event you attend. Biggest perks are the ability to enter and win drawings for pace car rides, garage passes etc. You also get access to meet and greet events that the gen public doesn't and you get discounts on Izod Racing gear plus a free hat and subcription to racer magazine. IMHO if you are only going to attend one event in a year, skip it, but if you are going to be at two or more it's a worthwhile deal.

I went to St. Pete this year. I went back and forth on getting it. I ended up getting it and don't regret it. Only way it would have been better if everyone I went with had it. I'll get it again whether I go to a race or not. If I go to a race next year I'll probably get two so I'll have someone to go to the stuff with me.
Sounds like it might be worth it - what did you get to do? The info about Champion says there will be special ticket deals for the Fontana race - have they announced what the deals will be? If your going to the 500 next year, its a no brainer IMO. Sign-up. Sooo many exciting opportunities, you are bound to get something nice!
Just got Pit/Garage Credential for the Iowa race. Paid for my dues right there.

Do you know if Pit/Garage Credientials are given for every race? And what access does it give you?
From what I have seen, that would be yes. Every event that I have seen have had Pit/Garage available.
Access depends on the track. But its at least the highest available access the track has on their website available for fans to purchase.
