Pulling into Milwaukee last night we heard a lengthy ad on the rock station for the race. Hope many show up race day.

Good luck to Clauson in today's lights race. He is fresh off a win last night during USAC's Indiana midget week event.

Anyways, the family and I are off to the track.

They are checking bags but unopened water was not a problem.

    Where's the 78?

How can they not want to get as much track time as possible...

    Seems like a planning fail.

Of all the ovals MKE should be the one Lotus has the best chance with premium on traction and handling

    Guess not

You cannot wrangle chaos. You can only try to plan for it.

Agreed. Interested to see what the time sheet looks like at the end of this practice.

Unfortunately IIRC Milwaukee was also where Simona was concussed after she took a big hit last year, right?

It really wasn't a big hit at Milwaukee, in fact it was just a bump...but the hit she took the week before is what did it.

    Ah. That makes sense.

Indycar needs Milwaukee on the schedule because of it's rich history, but
I also want to see big tracks like Michigan on the schedule.

Earlier today, Danica was p2 in the first practice at 190.506 mph.
    And that's Nationwide!

Come on Indycar, bring back Michigan!

    Danica who?

And Simona returns to her familiar spot at the bottom of the time sheet.

Power had the pole last year with two lap ave of 168.316mph, Newgarden 165.9 already.

Track record: 1998 Patrick Carpentier 185.500mph

Track record as others see it: Franchitti 2011 170.841

My above post was not correct, power did not have the pole last year. Oops
