So we're not going to get a 16th race. We never knew what a plan B was or even if plan B included a replacement for China.
All in all, we're out a Street race in China. Yeah, I'm really shook up about that.
In that it shouldn't have been scheduled in the first place? Or something else?
BTW: The DFP article specifically says the sides had NOT agreed on financial terms, yet Curtis acts like it was almost a done deal.
BTW2: Never thought MIS was feasible as the fill-in/add-on.

There wasn't a peep about this race since the day it was announced. What took so long for everyone to realize it wasn't happening?

Why should he suck up to them? It's the fans he should be concerned about. The track owners aren't going to think more of less of him than the number of fans he brings to them. He's not going to get a single break or an ounce of cooperation because they think he's swell.
