    TT3D: Closer to the Edge?

I'm just curious - I'm not a huge MotoGP or bike guy, but my father is a big fan of the Isle of Man. I happened upon a documentary called TT3D and was curious if any posters had seen it and if it lives up to the hype. One reviewer said this was the "Senna (docu)" of the motorcycle world, which would be awesome seeing as how my father, brother, and I saw the opening showing of Senna in Indianapolis when it came out (:sigh: at the "Fashion Mall"). Is it that good? Will the ol' man enjoy it?

TT3D is an awesome glimpse into The IOM TT. The TT really shares nothing with MotoGP, other than the bikes have 2 wheels. The TT runs multiple classes/races over 2 weeks on closed roads. Superbikes, supersports, sidecars and supertwins this year. It's closest comaprable series would be WSBK and BSB.

For a great MotoGP film, check out 'Fastest' which is the sequel to 'Faster' from a couple years back.

My apologies on the comparison to MotoGP. As you can see, I'm a but ignorant on the world of two-wheels. I did watch it and loved it. I wish Guy's accent want so thick, because I'm sure I missed some great quotes. I'd imagine this would have been breathtaking to see on the big screen. Easily one of the top five sports documents I've every seen, and that's coming from a huge docu guy.
