    iRacing league started

Hey guys, I know ages ago that I said I would start an iRacing league. Well now I have, through the karting series that work as a director of competition for the kids division.

As of right now the only series I can offer is a quick 6 week MX-5 season, but if things go well we will add more, since iRacing's league controls are easy to use. We will use almost all of the default tracks for the first go, except Road Atlanta who is one of our supporters.

The races will consist of 6 weeks of competition with each race night consisting of 3 short events, with the top 8 from race 1 inverting for race 2, and the top 8 from race 2 inverting for race 3.

    The schedule:
    July 16th - Round 1/Races 1-3: Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course - 10 laps
    July 23rd - Round 2/Races 4-6: Okayama Full Course - 8 laps
    July 30th - Round 3/Races 7-9: Lime Rock Park - 15 laps
    August 6th - Round 4/Races 10-12: Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca - 8 laps
    August 13th - Round 5/Races 13-15: Oval (TBD) - TBD laps
    August 20th - Final Round/Races 16-18: Road Atlanta - 9 laps

Sign-ups are here, and you will have to use the league provided car, although the color scheme can be changed.

Best of luck, TJ! If I was rich enough, I'd throw down for this.
"It takes a special level of incompetance to make a schedule this terrible. America is possibly the greatest country in the world overall for tracks. To make a bad schedule in America takes effort. A special kind of effort. A kind of effort that only IndyCar could come up with."
