    Pop-up windows within a post

I have not seen it before, but I just had a pop-up window in a post.

The word "qualify" is underscored and a window pops up that says "Text Enhance".

Please, please, please, make it go away!

    Thanks!

No, but after putting that post in, I spent the rest of today deleting and reloading virus, spy, malware software to get rid of whatever I ran across on the interwebs.

Hopefully I will be back to normal tomorrow...I mean the computer will be back to normal. UGH!

I run Microsoft Security Essentials and it does an excellent job watching my back when I surf, but the most valuable tool I've found to have is Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. I employ the free version (which doesn't include its real-time protection - that's what I have MSE for), and it is the best malware/spyware/virus scanner I've ever used: it not only finds the bad stuff, but it's also top-shelf at getting rid of anything that messes with your computer.

Every once in a while I'll get bit good from some of the wild places I surf, but every time but one MBAM has been able to identify the threat, isolate it, and then delete it. The vital point with it and every other reputable defender is, of course, to keep their ID list updated.

Actually installed malwarebytes yesterday. I am also running AVG and Spybot. AVG snagged some, then spybot grabbed a few more, then ran malwarebytes and it grabbed even more. No one program is going to get them all. Thing is I don't wander to far off the clear path of the interweb. Surprised I picked up what I did.

Still having a few issues with Chrome that I now need to straighten out.

Take a look at this article, it outlines 'Text-Enhanced' and how to remove it.

Good link. Fortunately I was able to get rid of it yesterday. Really no clue where I picked that one up. Annoying to say the least since I had to invest hours to get rid of it and a few other things.

It would be no surprise to me if you caught some computer virus from some of the photos that are allowed on here. Go to the Kim Kommando web site to read more on this. You would think the mods would delete posts with salacious pictures right away but they don't. Ernest

With a name like that, it sounds like that could be a porn site!

I don't know. She doesn't look like the kind you'd catch a virus from.
