I live in Alaska, a place of stunning beauty that many of you may never see. I'm going to start this thread and then periodically post pictures here to share with you.

This is a part of Anchorage known as the Upper Hillside. That's Flattop Mountain in the background, everyone in town climbs it a couple times a summer, elevation about 3,800 feet. The town of Anchorage itself is about 5 miles behind the cameraman.
