    Riot House Fantasy Football league

    Hi guys,

My fantasy football league (the "Riot House Regulars") still has an open slot for the 2012 NFL season. I am looking for another experienced ff owner, who is looking for a competitive money-league. Here are the basics about my league:

10 Teams (most owners are colleagues of mine; my brother; and a fellow TFer)
    Non-Keeper / Non-Dynasty
    2 QBs / 2 RBs / 2 WRs / 1 Te / 1 K / 1 D-ST / 6 BE
Snake draft to occur on September 2nd at 2 pm Eastern
Standard scoring (except that INTs are -1)
    Hosted by ESPN
    $100 buy-in with 100% payouts of $500, $250, $150, $100.
Regular season ends after Week 13
Top 4 teams make the playoffs
    Semifinals are Weeks 14 & 15
    Championship is Weeks 16 & 17
Still debating about free agency, most likely will be waivers, but could change to auction-style.

If you are interested, please send me a PM.

    With regards,

    D. Heimgartner

Still got one space open in the league. All managers are experienced and engaged (full draft participation last year and no bye-week players started). The format is a little different with 2 QBs and no flex positions. But the small roster sizes places an emphasis on mid-season acquisitions and weekly match-up adjustments.

The league still has one opening, if anyone would be interested. Having set the draft order on Friday, the eventual manager will be drafting in the 5th slot.

This is probably one of the more competitive leagues you will find short of the "high roller" leagues that are out there.

This is a fun league and run well.

Please don't go to an auction format - too much time needed and many are in other leagues as well.

No worries, will keep it at waivers.

And in case anyone is still looking for a great league, the tenth and final spot remains open. The draft will be on Saturday, September 1st at 1:30 pm Eastern, with six of us coming together in a burger joint in Zurich, Switzerland to draft en masse. We may also go to a mild keeper system after 2012, depending on how the other managers feel about it.

Why in the wide world of sports are you having the draft at 1:00 on Labor Day Saturday?

Well, it has to be either a Saturday or a Sunday, as we have drafters in Hawaii, the mid-west and Europe. Is the scheduled draft a major problem for you? The only alternative would be to move it to Sunday, but then the restaurant at which 6 of us plan to draft will be closed...

I'll make it work or get someone to draft for me.
