    ISW Roll Call...

One of the best weeks of summer...

I'll be at Terre Haute and Bloomington cheering on Dave Darland among others; anyone else?

And if you can make the 50 mile drive south, you'll have a ride to da 'burg.

Wanna know what's wrong with NASCAR? They've gone from Junior Johnson to Jimmie Johnson.

Wanna know what's wrong with IndyCar? It's gone from dirt ovals to street races.

Thanks for the offer, Danny! It's just that it's a long way from home on a Sunday night and I have to get up early for work the next morning. I'll let you know if I change my mind, though.

I will be flying in on Wednesday afternoon. Plan on Terre Haute, Lincoln Park, Bloomington and finish off my stay with a trip to Paragon. Fly back home on Sunday.

Very much looking forward to catching up with friends and see some great racing!

Went to Gas City last weekend. One of the best sprint car features I've ever seen! BC really hauled the mail that night!

Went to Lawrenceburg. Good show. Congrats to Justin Grant on his first USAC feature win.

Went to Putnamville. Track looked like it was in great shape....till the storm blew in. Hope to go back Sunday.

Congrats to Levi on the 2012 ISW Championship. Terre Haute and Bloomington were both great races and nights at the track. Sure wish we could have got Lincoln Park in on Thursday, but I know the rain was welcomed in the area so I can’t feel bad about that. It was great seeing Danny, Richie, Liz, Jerry and Dave. Again Indiana racing and its fans showed me a just how special it is here in the Hoosier state. Already looking forward to my next trip west!

Only made it to the 'burg for this sprint week. Would have went to Saturdays but was not ready for the loong run to Haubstedt.

My congrats to Justin Grant and Kevin Thomas Jr. Grant is winning about everything but a USAC race up until now. KT found the only piece of the puzzle missing was one Bubby Jones. Both of these drivers undoubtedly will have several wins to come. Another congrats goes to Bent Beauchamp. He never logged a win but he did have some solid runs in the seven races.

I really enjoyed watching Darland and Clauson running 2 distinctly different lines at the Burg'. Tough luck for both but I enjoyed seeing Justin get his 1st USAC win.
I can't get over how nice that facility is. Simply top notch.
