Faster than a bullet from a gun
He is faster than everyone
Quicker than the blinking of an eye
Like a flash you could miss him going by
No one knows quite how he does it but it's true they say
He's the master of going faster. -George Harrison

I think Bob & Tom were talking about this the other morning![]()
"I love Indianapolis. I love the people. I love everything about it....the tradition, the history." - Dan Wheldon
Maybe the time of death is unknown because he was watching a plate race, or multiple attempts at a green white checker finish. So live, dead, he looked about the same.
Got to watch out for those Libertarians - they want to take over the government and leave everyone alone!
Bizarre! At least I know I'll have a place to watch the race in Jackson should I ever misplace my MIS tickets!

During my mid-life single days (the most interesting 12 years I ever lived through) I took a blonde date to the Copper World Classic who would have fit most of the criteria for this thread. She did come to life long enough to start crying when a midget flipped in front of us on the main straight. I don't think she was destined to ever become a race fan.
The way rhe "crowd" looks at Loudon today, NASCAR probably wishes there were a few more stiffs in the stands!
"My favorite time of the day at the Speedway during the month of May was just after dusk, after the track had closed down for day, I used to go out and sit on the pit wall and just listen and think"~ Dick Ralstin
This is NOT what I meant when I said Michigan has diehard fans!![]()
Bryan Brothers Racing Team: We'll see you "at the track"!!!
He had no objections to any of the announcers calling the race. Never made comments about the attendance, Had no opinion of the GWC. He just enjoyed the racing.
I don't remember who it was. He cleared the pit wall upside down and landed on his wheels right in the middle of the crowded Silver Crown grid. And didn't hit anyone.
I've worked a lot of pit lanes since then and have never looked at pit wall without picturing that midget sailing over it.
"I kept him clean and he didn't stink at all"
Makes you wonder what her house smelled like before old Charlie died?
"Ride The Barrel & Get Pitted... So Pitted."
Hey guys, promoters are struggling all over so this could be one heck of a promotional idea!!!
Bring Out Your Dead Night at the track, that's right, anyone deceased gets in free with a paid adult admission. No coffins wider than 14 inches will be allowed in the grandstands.
