Have any of these Christian themed teams ever been successful? Didn't Brandon Wagner and "Kingdom Racing" try this before? Is Kingdom racing still around?

Kingdom Racing last only one season but only raced half the schedule.

Personally as a Christian I think Christians can use their money more wisely then spending hundreds of thousands on a racing adventure that might not produce fruit at all. NASCAR driver Michael McDowell is sponsored by K-Love a nationwide radio station and so far they have sponsored him for most of the races Michael has been in. Oddly enough Michael has always finished and qualified at the bottom of the barrow which can mean one of two things: they're absolutely terrible or Micheal is a "start and park" driver.

Without getting into too dicey territory, I think if you're going to run an organization on faith-based principles, it's possible to do successfully. Chik-Fil-A would be a prime example, I'd think. But just doing that alone won't bring results. Hopefully, they have a solid team and a good driver if they want to succeed in Lights. I hope they do. The series could stand to have another quality full-time entry.

So I suppose we won't be seeing Alon Day or Fernando Alonso at that team anytime soon.

I don't think we will see Fernando Alonso driving for any other Indy Lights team, any time soon
