Clover I can live with.
The same for me. I didn't water and my grass is greener than it normally is in the spring.
I don't mess with the weeds if they're green. If they are another color they go, but if they're green, and blend in, they're good to go until winter.
I've had to cut my grass three straight Tuesdays.
    Have a very blessed day!

Grass, what's grass? After being away 2 months I had to trim some low hanging tree branches in my driveway so my RV wouldn't brush them.

Lots and lots of rain tonight.

My irrigation system has been turned off for two weeks and will stay off for at least another week with all of this rain.

Mine was off all summer but I made up for the saving by having to keep refilling the lawn mower with petrol.

4" of rain in my rain gauge here on the westside of Indy.
I was at a football game on the eastside when the game was postponed due to the storm, especially all the lightning. The ride home was quite exciting! Traffic was traveling at about 30MPH on I465 and everyone was driving safely, giving each other some space. Now that's a miracle in itself!

I was speaking with a guy that works for the Hamilton County Sheriffs dept. He was sent out in the storm last night to monitor. He's parked and looking around when a telephone pole was struck by lightening right in front of him. He later saw a TV antennae get hit. He was so close to the strike that every hair on his body stand on end and had the tingling sensation.

Luckily that passed just north of our house.

I finally found a 45 minute window to jump out yesterday and take a bike ride... should have taken my poncho as it turned out to be just a 40 minute window instead.
