    great race at Mosport

We had absolutely great race at Mosport pakr yesterday, with 3 Gt cars battling all the way to the finishline. Absolutely classic race.

Shame nobody is even discussing it, let alone watching it.

It is a shame this series will wanish in 3 years. Just like its european counterpart wanished few days ago

    Shame, because racing was great

Yes, it was great fun seeing Corvette, Porsche and Ferrari duke it out at the end. Nice pass by the Xtreme Speed Ferrari for second.

Oops, make that for the win after the Lizardmobile failed the post-race stall test.

I watched it on ESPN2... sadly the ALMS doesn't follow NASCAR & Indycar's lead by allowing fans to turn the TV off/drive home knowing the actual winners.

I'm not an engineer or engine expert, but is a car failing the stall test a performance advantage?

You could throw a blanket over the GT podium at the finish line.

Well...if one of the restrictions on the engine's performance is that all its air must be drawn through a specific diameter hole, and plugging the hole doesn't stop the engine, meaning it's still getting air through somewhere else...

Understood... however if the FLM #45 had a performance advantage...

... it should have been much farther up the road from the Patron 458 & the Pratt & Miller C6R, yes???

It would have been the same effect as running with a larger restrictor than it was supposed to have. That would have been an advantage and not abiding by the rules of the competition. Is the objection that it's only unfair to the other competitors who adhered to the rules (whether the violation was accidental or not) as long as they didn't get lapped?

I would argue just the opposite; if the air inlet was not leaking, wouldn't the Lizards have been positioned on the road behind the ESM and Vette?
