A show I saw over the weekend on PBS...took a tour of various supper clubs in Wisconsin...was pretty interesting...
The first one they went to was in Beloit...and one of the patrons was Bun E. Carlos from Cheap Trick...funny stuff...

WI Supper Clubs, one of my favorite subjects. Funny story. This past New Years we spent the weekend in Sturgeon Bay. My wife called The Nightingale supper club for reservations on New Years Eve, and asked what kind of "activities" were planned for the night. They responded with "You aren't from around here are you?" I think we were the last people there that night, and it was all of 9PM. Great prime rib though. BBQ ribs are good as well.
