Caught it too. Looks like Todd Harris found a home. But for the Brit announcer, I think the Spanish rider's mustache was from Dodgeball, not Happy Gilmore. I don't remember Ben Stiller being in Gilmore. Onto basketball.

The Gold Medal game in Men's Volleyball may have been the best match I've ever seen. The Russian coach made a huge change in his line-up and was either going to be a hero or zero. I can't even imagine how to try and defend against players as big as the 7' 2" player hitting opposite. After the show of exhuberence/poor sportsmanship by Brazil against the US Women's team, I was happy to see the Brazilians have an epic FAIL.

The NBC Sports network is showing compilations of different events i.e. Women's Track & Field, Men's Swimming, Men's Basketball, Women's Volleyball, etc. today. Basically one hour Olympic highlight programs divided by sport so you don't waste time watching crap like rhythmic gymnastics and I've DVR'd a couple that I'm interested in; Men's Sprints and Women's Beach Volleyball...

Doh!

If I had only known I wouldn't have wasted so much time and angst worrying over trying to watch the stuff I was interested in the last two weeks and missing most of what I was interested in.

Well at least I know not to get caught up in it again next time and just wait for it to be over.
