    Its the economy
Faster than a bullet from a gun
    He is faster than everyone
Quicker than the blinking of an eye
Like a flash you could miss him going by
No one knows quite how he does it but it's true they say
He's the master of going faster. -George Harrison

Danica wasn't in it. No point in a thread.

I speculated on another thread that those who were not in the stands were not participating in race threads either.

It looked like a pretty thin crowd, at least on TV. There will be a lot of excuses, but I think the main reason is that the racing isn't all that compelling.

that crowd was pretty pathetic.....have to imagine there were some concerned faces high up in the pagoda on Sunday.

NASCAR fans don't like the fact that you can't see the whole track and I think many have realized that IMS is a terrible NASCAR track.

I'm happy to see that Indy is the King of IMS again.

Actually those concerned who matter sit on the lower levels of the pagoda... Timing and Scoring, Track control and spotters take up the upper levels.

IMS isn't a NASCAR track... It is a technical track but NASCAR cars aren't technical race cars.

I'm happy to see that Indy is the King of IMS again.
    Again??

Maybe their fans are tired of the kind of crap calls from the Almighty Mike Helton and his puppet Robin Pemberton. BAD call on Sadler, really bad. Time to drug test the officials!

I watch it because it is INDY but having saw the first 5 BY400's and none since i can tell you the lack of what I feel is good racing has kept me from making the 12 hour roundtrip plus extra cash each year.

I did miss the Nationwide race at IRP though, always found that interesting, but understand why they moved it.
