The rigorous 200 lap event around the 1-mile facility in New Castle, Indiana will feature a minimum of $20,000 race purse with a record-high $10k schedule to be paid to the winning team along with their names etched on the Dan Wheldon Cup. Added to the 2012 event for the first time will be events for the Yamaha Junior and Yamaha Sportsman categories - each fighting for a $5,000 check to the winner.
