I will post something, sometimes more than one thing everyday that is connected to IMS. I've been holding off announcing it here till I had more post up but today marks one year since I last interviewed Dan Wheldon. The audio is posted on the site. Thanks for your support.

Thanks. Now I know when the first IndyCar race I attended was. It was in 1969 at Raceway Park. I remembered going there but had no idea of what year it was.

Wow, looks great. I can't wait to check it out. Well, that's a lie.I can wait, or rather have to, until I'm done getting packed and ready for a video shoot tomorrow.

Hey, if you remember Bud Tinglestad then you must also remember another USAC mid-packer of that era, Arnie Knepper. The Knepper kids went to the same school as my siblings in Belleville, Illinois. I think one of my brothers had a crush on the older daughter. I only went to kindergarten there for three months before we moved away. Ironically, Belle Claire Speedway was only two or three miles from our house, but back then they only ran tin-top jalopies, which my Dad had no interest in (the nearest midget races I think were Granite City); nowadays, Belle Claire hosts the Arnie Knepper Memorial midget race every year.
