I didnt say everybody. Micheal Andretti & Roger Penske have been successful on both sides. Im just saying just because you were a successful driver doesnt mean you know how to run a team and there are a lot of damn good car owners who were not successful as drivers (Ganassi/Childress to name a couple) and even some didnt race at all (Roush for example). And im saying AJ Foyt is one of the examples of the other side, great driver, bad team owner. There just isnt any other way to put it. AJ is a bad car owner.

That's not true at all. In fact that's a big lie. I know Chase, he's not a coward like that. Chase has driven **** equipment in nationwide and done well, and he did well in the 100 in really **** equipment, finishing 9th. He can drive a car, and he will do well in Foyts car.

I didnt mean that he had no budget, I meant that of the teams that do have a solid budget, his is the worst. Going back to my point that just because you have money doesnt make you a good team. You have to know how to spend it, which evidently he does not.

And its different when you're driving for yourself and being as gifted as he was behind the wheel, he won races. But its a different story when you have to manage the whole team, hire the proper people and drivers and surround your team with the best talent and resources, which AJ didnt do when he "owning" his team back then, as it was Jim Gilmore running the business. And Foyt's team never won in CART. Only time AJ's team had big success was with Brack in a watered down series. Team hasnt been worth a damn in the last several years, despite having a solid budget. And Foyt is also known as being a cheap-skate when it comes to salaries.

Let SFHR grab ahold of that ABC funding and her car is running up front.

Tony Stewart wishes he was AJ's godson of course. Chase was with a bad Lights team, did okay. Far better than the aborted comeback of ole Willy T. in Lights. Now that was laughable.

Well..it looks like has not driven much as a Pro racer since 2007 (5 years)! Not just rear engine cars.

You need to read the press release. AMERICAN HONDA is paying as part of their diversity program. Miles has been trying this for the last 20 years. AMERICAN HONDA paid for his Indy Lights rides too.

I bet this was pitched to many teams and Foyt was the ONLY taker.

But good luck to Austin, I hope he does better than he did in Indy Lights. I was told that after his first practice at Indy, he was in TEARS -- scared!! His Dad had to give him a "talk" to get him back in the car. Shoud be interesting.

And we have all seen Marco in tears park a car....4 years into his career! It's okay to be scared from time to time, it's what you do after the is the real thing to watch

I doubt this was offered to every team. SFHR needs the funding, and to work directly with Honda could have been great for her, not to mention pairing to young Americans!

Willy T felt so bad about his performance in the Lights car, he parked himself. Hadn't been in a car in how many years? Gave up NASCAR,saying it was too racist at the time.

I would bet that Willy is in the background on this, helping Chase as much as he can in IndyCar.
