    Jakesey Nation/Happy Birthday James!

So some OpenWheel friends of mine created Jakesey Nation on Facebook and twitter to support James Jakes. They also created Boy Scout Troop 4 - 19 (for 19) as a fan base. Today they hosted the first annual James Jakes Jamboree on the campground at MidOhio and James came out to see us with his girlfriend Megan.

Just happy to report that a great time was had by all, we sang Happy Birthday and had cake, told funny stories, laughed, loved!

Look for the James Jakes Jamboree sticker (rumored to be on the carbashian) during the race tomorrow! James and Megan were very gracious, and seemed to have a great time with Troop 4 - 19! special thanks to them both.

When asked "the hair looks great, what product do you use"? Without hesitation James replied happily "Paul Mitchell!". What a great sponsor opportunity! Hey Paul Mitchell Im looking at you!

It was really great to meet the driver, spend 45 minutes or so getting to engage him....just having a great time!

A very sincere Happy Birthday to James, and a thank you to both he and Megan, who were both great people! James birthday wish? Rain! And man the forecast looks like its coming!! Here is to hoping a great young man gets his first win Sunday! Thanks James!

Copious pictures will be available soon at Jakesey Nation on Facebook! And yes fellas, she does look that damn good!!

Please friend Jakesey Nation and follow James on twitter! Sincerely, Goldie19, the official photographer of Jakesey Nation!

Are you NASCARASM? He's on twitter always making fun of NASCAR and he's in Mid Ohio this weekend and took a pic of the get together you were at. Pretty funny
I'd rather have 10% of the world interested in the ICS than 50% of US that NASCAR currently has

Rumor has it that both Lauren Bohlander and Kevin Lee has Jakesy Nation Boy Scout troop 4 - 19 official t shirts. Look for them on tv Sunday! The power of social marketing!

He was leaving just as we were walking back to our camper. My step son and his cousin kept shouting back JC nation last night. They thought it was hilarious.

James Jakes is from the same city in the UK as me! Infact, he's from just down the road. He's a fellow loiner, a fellow white rose, a fellow rhino, a fellow Yorkie boy, a fellow tyke and a fellow LUFC fan.

James Jakes is great guy. It's always great to see the Brits over there but to see a home boy over there is amazing. Leeds is a great city and having Jakes racing in the US is a great thing for us.

I had the pleasure to interview Jakesy for OpenPaddock not too long ago. Awesome guy, and I'd love to see him have more success.

They mentioned Jakesy Nation during the ABC Broadcast. I hope you DVR'd the race, Goldie.
