Thread: Enough of the Nation stuff

  1. #31
My email address has Nation in it but I've had it for several years so I am not changing it.

Really? We really don't have a problem with this thread going political? But we vitch and moan when a thread about a mass shooting takes that turn?

Oh for crying out loud... It was one post, not a political detour. It may not have been original, but in light of Jim being the OP for this thread I thought it was marginally clever. ...also, that it was coming from one of the few Moderates on the board ought to count for something.

My point was about PHJ's response, not your original comment.

I had no problem with what you said, because I know you come from center-left, and you meant no harm. I was responding to the overreaction.

Wanna know what's wrong with NASCAR? They've gone from Junior Johnson to Jimmie Johnson.

Wanna know what's wrong with IndyCar? It's gone from dirt ovals to street races.

I was responding to the second post which is how it always gets started... plus I had just gotten through reading a post in the Feedback forum where "somebody" was blaming others for it always happening in the O.T. forum. But the Rensanity post with a wink and smile should have been a sign I wasn't "freakin' out". Just trying to nip it before it became three. Which normally would have been me coming from the other side.

    Condemnation.

Blame John Facenda, wasn’t he the one that first called out Steeler Nation on those 70’s films?. Wonder if he ever got any checks from that marketing tool?.

Similar to the greatest marketing gift probably in history, when he gave to the Raiders with that “Autumn Wind” poem.
