If you are a road racing enthusiast, investing in a DSLR camera and taking pics at races is a great way to enjoy the racing. I am merely average at it. There are some who take really excellent shots. This year, for Road Atlanta Petit LeMans, I'm going to invest in one of the 70-200mm Canon pro lenses. With some practice, you can get really excellent shots.

Only racing nerds like us can appreciate this kind of racing. When trying to explain what is going on out there to the average joe, they just don't understand multiple races going on at the same time.

They would also need to race on an oval.

Actually the DW 12 looks OK with those cars, seems like it belongs out there.

Thanks everyone. That Peugeot LeMans car was just stunning to see race and up close in the pit/paddock.

Looking at NASCAR, their races broadcasts take almost 4 hours, almost every sunday, only on ovals (having only 2 road courses are pretty useless IMO), ugly cars, make it very tiring to watch. And I'm not even getting into the fake racing aspect.
Then looking at ALMS, broadcasts takes around 3 hours, cars are beautiful, many histories to be told as there are the different class, less events per year, some longer events, very interesting to watch.
Ok, it's a matter of preference, but...

I was going reverse order in this thread, and when I saw the pic of the Peugeot, I about exploded with glee.

I've said before the DW12 looks like they just knocked the front fenders off of a P1 car and changed the nose.

Can I say how much I dislike the large fins the LMP cars are forced to run now? I sure wish the Audis and Pugeots were going to be at Baltimore.
