My rain pants do nothing! Guess 8 years or so of use is enough. Time to hit the vendors in Gasoline Alley tomorrow for some new gear.

Quite a few accidents have happened today for MotoGP. Casey Stoner, Ben Spies, and Nicky Hayden are among them. Sounds like Nicky had a scary one where he lost consciousness.

Spies got back on later, Stoner might have torn ligaments in his hand per the PA, but the Star mentioned his ankle.

Bad luck for drivers and fans unlike. You hate to see crashes like that and none of the riders will be fully fit for the race.

just watched the Moto 3 race- very exciting!

does anyone know why they call qualifying sessions "QP"

    what does QP stand for?

EDIT: Found the answer; QP = Qualify Practice as opposed to FP (Free Practice)

looking forward to upcoming races- too bad some of the top guys are in bad shape already from the wrecks

I especially want to see the Harley race later in the day- those things are cool looking IMHO

Moto2 was a run away. Hopefully MotoGP is more competitive.

Watching it now on Speed. They (Speed) are doing a terrible job so far (IMO). Usually, Moto2 is the best race of the w/e.

Run away wins are quite rare in Moto2. This was only the 2nd time of the season(10 races so far) that the victory margin was more than 2.0 seconds. For the record the other race was a wet race(Le Mans).

As roach said, Moto2 is usually the best race of the week-end normally. Pretty much the real deal these days.

I was quite surprised to see that Pol Espargaro couldn't match Marquez's pace anyway, he dominated most of the sessions this week-end.
