The Bengals lose three starters, one possibly for the season. But they beat the Jets so it is a good night.

Apparently Preseason isn't just for the Teams... Last night I tried to DVR the Bucs/Rams games. I was only interested in seeing the first quarter However when I switched over to catch the last 5 minutes of the local stations Pre-game show there were less than 4 minutes left in the first quarter.

To add insult to injury a minute later I find out that Dan Orlovsky is the new back-up for Josh Freeman.

Hoping for better Luck on Sunday with my first team.

The Bucs played the Dolphins, not the Rams.

Orlovsky was 8/8 with 91 yards. He was a legitimate backup QB last year. He's had the misfortune of being a backup on some teams that were historically bad before he ever hit the field.

That's the problem with having two teams... the Colts play the Rams on Sunday. Obviously I didn't stick around to watch much of the Bucs/Dolphins game... in fact I bailed as they were making the switch in the rain for the start of the second quarter.

Wait, how did we go this long without noting that Curtis Painter threw three TD passes for the Ravens?

That Luck kid played pretty good too. Had it not been for a slightly overthrown ball to Tackle Eligible (Reitz?), it would have been three TD's in the first half.

I didn't even know that happened until reading an article today.

The local TV coverage was in commercial for that play and almost missed the next one.

Jags coach Mike Mularkey is donating $250 to the Ronald McDonald House every time his players don't spike the ball after a TD.
