When I read this I was so angry.

Where the Hell were the 'parents'?

Why do we immediately have to look for someone to blame?

Accidents happen, despite our best (or even not so best) intentions.

Honor Xander's memory rather than sullying it.

Xander deserved some help and it should have never been up to just him. Our children often deserve better from us.

Accidents happen, but the story just doesn't add up.

Adults were present at the pool during the incident, including an off-duty nurse who helped rescue the children, according to the Dallas Morning News. It wasn’t clear where the adults were when the incident happened.

If they were present and witnessed him saving his sister, why did The boy drown. Also, a fund has been established to help with medical expenses. Does that house look like money is a problem? The owner would certainly have insurance with the pool.
