    NBC, please retire Johnny Miller

Yes Johnny, you've made your point about 30 times in the last hour, Crooked Stick is not a tough course for these guys. How about focusing on what's important - there are 20 guys within 5 shots of the lead, and many of the big names in the mix.
It's hard to be cool when your dad is Goofy.

No course is tough when you allow players to cheat - (clean and place).

This leaderboard is pretty legit, however.

The course has been soaked due to Isaac rains and as a result, soft and easier to get those higher scores. Had it had a week to dry out the scores wouldn't have been so high.

TPC Boston gave up 21 under par, and that's on the schedule every year. You are right about weather making Crooked Stick easier (but not for everyone, Hunter Mahan shot 80).

Do people really care? Is it more exciting seeing somebody win when the score is -5 instead of -20? To me the drama comes from how close first & second place are.

Exactly. I usually like the tough courses, but I find this much more entertaining than the ugly grind at the US Open this year.
