    Who Owns IROC ?

I was just wondering who owns and operates IROC (isc??) ?

The series seems less diversified in recent years.

There always seems to be races at Daytona, Talladega and Michigan every year. And now Indy seems as if it will be an annual part of the Brickyard weekend.

What happened to moving to different tracks?
What happened to having a road course?
Why is the majority(6 this year) of the 12 participants always from NASCAR?
    What about the SportsCar guys?
I know that this season the CART guys couldn't run due to schedule conflicts.

    Thanks

Last I heard, it was Roger Penske. Dopn't know if he divested it or not with the tracks to ISC.

    Go to http://www.irocracing.com/

    (Don't go to www.iroc.com, though).

Les Richter is the chairman of IROC, Vice-President for Special Projects at ISC and works out of California Speedway.

    Here's his bio: http://dbserver.iscmotorsports.com/I...ookUp=LRichter

So, even if ISC doesn't own it outright, they have their fingers pretty much all over it.

IROC is not owned by ISC. It was not a part of Penske Motorsports so it did not get included with the tracks in the sale.

IROC is owned by a partnership consisting of Jay Signore (former Penske crewman) and his wife Barbara (one of the alltime good people), Roger, and Les Richter.

It is a privately held company, run day to day by Jay and Barbara, based in Tinton Falls, New Jersey.
