What is the typical speed for the IROC cars at Indy? How much slower than the NASCAR cars?
The pace of the IROC race was about 155. Nascar pole was 182.
Considering their best laps in the race are about 10 mph slower than qualifying today and IROC top speeds should be around 160 with fresh tires, I guess it would be safe to say that the Winston Cup cars are about 10 mph faster than IROC with their fixed setups.Originally posted by TomL:
