    My first Indy 500 was 1973, haven't missed one since 1981. To date I have attended 35 Indy 500's, and probably 100 or so other IndyCar races (CART & IRL).

    I haven't had a favorite NASCAR driver since Alan Kulwicki was killed, but if someone twisted my arm I'd say Mark Martin or Ricky Rudd.

    I'm too fickle to have just one favorite. I'll usually be rooting for the guy who hasn't won a race before. Enjoyed seeing Craven drive it home first. Still waiting on Benson. . .

    All time favorite is David Pearson , still root for the Wood Brothers but I wish they'd go back to the Pearl White body w/ Candy Apple roof and the Gold 21 paint job .

    With Dale's death , I don't really have a "favorite" in the same sense.

    I'll pull for Stewart or Gordon usually, although I like Ward Burton 'cause he's the only one who speaks good English .

    John Andretti
    Tony Stewart


    Would love to see Elliot win one again after all these years.

    Don't really have any drivers I "hate". I have always been a little queezy about booing a man that is about to strap himself into a hunk of metal going 200mph, putting his life on the line for my entertainment.
