    Indy Question: When was the last time......

    that a non-first day qualifier won the 500?
    Was it Al Sr. in 1987?

    Yes. Non-first day qualifiers winning is very rare. After Al Sr. in '87 you have to back to 1974 and Johnny Rutherford.
