    I didn't know you were out of your teens, Eagle....

    Gurney was also one of my all time favorites. Do you remember all those "Dan Gurney for President" bumper stickers in the fifties? I emailed him to see if he would run again in 2004. Unfortunately, I believe his has other irons in the fire....

    I enjoyed Dan immensley, both as a driver and an owner.

    The IRL should have been made for guys like Gurney, or a Granatelli for owners. A real shame that Dan will probably never get another crack at the Borg Warner trophy as an owner. I always liked his innovations, good or bad.
