    Racing Video Game Forum

Let's have a video game forum. I play lots of racing games and if I had a question about how to make something work or secret codes in a game, I don't think it would be right to post it on the IRL Forum. We can ask questions about NASCAR, IRL, and other games that have to do with racing. Who's with me?

We have too many forums here. Besides, why's a high school kid interested in vidoe games? It'll rot your brains!

Man, I've heard enough of you today. I agree that we do have too many forums but I had a queston about the steering wheel that I bought today. It works, but every time I hit the gas and let my foot off it keeps going full speed. I keep flying off the turns and wrecking my car on the first turn of the first lap every time. I just quit racing and started talkin here all day.

That's why you use the brakes.

Actually, the wheel might have an "automatic" button. Sometimes they're hard to see. It might be that.

    Also, check the manual.

You shouldn't have to ride the brake all the way around Talladega in a stock car. I know that's not right. I go on the backstretch and it gets squirrely and goes right. Then I totally let off the gas and it goes faster unless I slam on the brakes, then it comes to a complete stop. Racing shouldn't be that tough. Gosh, now I know how Jon DeVries feels!

Anyone who plays SCGT can feel free to PM me. I have all the cheat codes and setups. I also have a basic knowledge on how to download and install cars in the game, something that will give you alot of trouble if you are not real conmputer saavy.

Nevermind, I got it working. Just put a little WD40 on the pedals. The game is just NASCAR Thunder 2003. My create-a-driver was Jon De Vries and I won the Daytona 500.
