Heard from a true Rush fan whom works at a popular music store that Rush's new LP will be coming out between late summer and early fall. Rush came up under the IRL board about three weeks ago and I had to bring it up again.

If this press release from Atlantic Records is to be believed, the album should be out in the spring:

"If there is a place on Earth synonymous with race cars, it is Indianapolis." -- Bernie Ecclestone
"No matter where you go in the world, you say Indianapolis and they don't think about football or basketball, they think about the race." -- Richard Petty
Wow! Better information than my sources for Wherehouse Music. Even better, that means that the tour would start in the summer if Atlantic Records does release Rush's new LP early spring. Appreciate the link to this information. Local radio stations weren't sure themselves.
Just heard the first song ("One Little Victory") from the new Rush album ("Vapor Trails"), which will be released May 14. Very heavy drums and lots of sound processing on the vocals. Here's some info from Atlantic Records:

First leg of the tour will more than likely be in my neck of the woods which is in the Southwest.

Looks like they're going east to west, so you'll likely be seeing them near the end of the tour, Jimbo7.
Thanks for the information. No Rush in Arizona, though. Don't know if I'll drive to Albuquerque to see them in concert...
Jimbo7, check the tour dates again. They've added a date in Phoenix on 9/27. Not exactly walking distance for you, but a lot closer than Albuquerque!
Alright! I haven't been checking that schedule. That means the tickets would go on sale sometime in July. Thanks.
