Well, it's back to the dark ages. At least I got to have it for two years before they yanked the rug out from under me. If all there is to watch is stock cars, I'll find another sport to follow. I won't be force fed anything.

It don't sound good for you SV viewers, but it may be a blessing - in disquise - for those of us who can't get SV on Cable and don't want dishes. As the quote below suggests, they may carry some other venues, at least for awhile. No one could stomache NASCAR for 24 hours a day!!

"We don't think it can be just NASCAR 24 hours a day out of the gate," Brooks says. "It will have some other racing elements. That's probably the right mix to get us started."

"This is a precursor to what will become the NASCAR Channel, for all intents and purposes."

....uh, great choice for a network, Joe.

I look for the ABC/IRL partnership to also move to the next level.

It did become profitable this year, but I don't get SV nor know of people who have it, after checking the schedules it seems they have plenty of gaps to fill in!

They make money with their info shows I guess. With NASCARS financial backing and the revenues they will get from CART one must assume they will continue to be profitable.
