Correction, not evacuating, just strongly suggesting people go home. I'm 1 block north of Sears Tower.![]()
Glad to hear you're ok, starr. You take care of yourself, and I know you will.

Our Cleveland office is closing and forwarding their calls to us. Jeesh, they are somewhat deluded by their importance on an international scale.![]()
We have all been informed to be prepared to help out our customers in any way we can...looks like I am not going home for quit sometime. Our biggest problem right now is we can't get ahold of our customer's to help out because of the clogged phone lines.

They shut down Union Station.![]()
Union Station back and adding trains. Guess who gets to stay and be part of the "Skeleton Crew", boy I am not happy with that term.
Our offices are closed except for essential personnel, and I'm back at home near the mountains in Littleton,CO.
OK, I have been dismissed. We are forwarding all calls to Seattle, which no one in thier right mind would consider a major financial hub. Why didn't I stop and get gas this morning.Talk to you all later.
Please check in with us again as soon as you can, Starr.
Well it's begun. Our software keeps multiple systems in total sync so you can switch over from one system to another(usually in another state) without any interruption in business or transactions...The phones are now ringing off the hook for us to help/hand hold customers through a switch over to their other systems.....It's going to be a long night!!!!
I used to work in Sears Tower. I've never been so glad in my life that I don't work there anymore. If ever there was a building with a bullseye on the side, the Tower was it. The office I work in now is out in the boonies, and we haven't officially closed, but they said that anyone who "feels the need to leave may do so."
Thanks for all the concern today. I made it home fine. The Loop was like a ghost town, except for around the Federal ReserveBank of course. I have been at work on a Sunday in a Blizzard and seen more people.
My main concern today was for my co-workers with families. I made a point of staying so those with wives and children could go home.
I was very angry with the Canadian's who felt it was necissary to put all of us at risk for the probably 30 calls we fielded today.
Glad to hear you're ok, Starr.
Thanks for checking back in with us.
